Altro che festeggiamenti dell’ 8 marzo! Altro che parità! Assistiamo nuovamente all’ennesima discriminazione ai danni di una atleta donna!
Questa volta tocca a Lara Lugli, la cui società sportiva (Volley Maniago Pordenone) con cui giocava a pallavolo in Serie B1 nella stagione 2018/19 le ha chiesto giudizialmente i danni per essere rimasta incinta, accusandola di aver sottaciuto al momento dell’ingaggio della propria intenzione di avere figli e quindi di aver violato la buona fede contrattuale.
La Lugli ha dichiarato sui social” a distanza di due anni vengo citata dalla stessa società per danni, in risposta al decreto ingiuntivo dove chiedevo il mio ultimo stipendio di febbraio”. Una vicenda che ferisce non solo la stessa Lugli, ma tutta la categoria di atlete che ancora devono fare i conti con delle condizioni contrattuali che proibiscono o comunque inibiscono la volontà di una donna di raggiungere l’obiettivo più grande che si possa desiderare: diventare madre.
Un’azione, quella della società di Franco Rossato, che ha convinto l’Assist (l’Associazione Nazionale Atlete) a scrivere una lettera al presidente del Consiglio Mario Draghi e al numero uno del CONI, Giovanni Malagò, per chiedere che cosa intendano fare per mettere fine alla situazione per la quale le donne italiane, non avendo accesso alla legge nº91 del 1981 sul professionismo sportivo, vengono esposte a questi casi.
La società di Pordenone, dal canto suo, ha motivato la scelta come una conseguenza non solo del fatto che Lara Lugli avrebbe volontariamente nascosto il desiderio di diventare madre, ma che il suo stop abbia portato la formazione a perdere molti punti sul campo e infine anche sponsor importanti.
Cosa si può fare? Io proporrei una campagna di raccolta firme attraverso il nostro magazine Sport Event con l’intento di richiedere un intervento legislativo e di modifica della legge n. 91 del 1981 che non tiene assolutamente conto dei diritti delle donne dello sport, partendo già dalla modifica delle parole nel testo di legge. Non bisogna solo riferirsi ad atleti professionisti, ma anche alle atlete professioniste!
La strada per una vera parità anche in ambito sportivo tra donne e uomini è ancora lunga e tortuosa, care amiche dell’Angolo Rosa!
